Get to know Kaitlyn

Hi everyone, I'm Kaitlyn and I’m originally from the U.S. I moved to the Netherlands to pursue a degree in biochemistry at Maastricht University, and I've known I wanted to stay from that moment on. 

After graduating, I was lucky to stumble on an opportunity to work for De VIB Fabriek. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance that this team gave me. Since I started in November, I’ve felt welcomed and supported by people who are talented, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. While I never expected to end up in the world of chemical legislation, I’ve found that I not only enjoy it but that I have a real head for it too. 

Every day brings something new, whether it’s diving into regulations, making sense of complex information, or finding the best way to support our clients. The challenges we take on as a team are equally as rewarding. Earlier this year, for example, I ran my first 5k with my colleagues at the Venloop. Running in a race was something I never imagined myself doing, and I was proud just to finish. 

It’s that mix of personal growth, shared goals, and a great team dynamic that makes working here so fulfilling. I’m excited to keep learning, keep growing, keep supporting our clients- and keep surprising myself along the way.
